Plus pants from a thing I reblogged earlier today because Chris is standing waist-deep in water for most of the video. Also used his face as reference but it got kind of distorted with Galen’s features.

Basically. I just found out where all the Photoshopped coupons are coming from.
I really really hope karma catches up to you, whoever stole that coupon from the store and posted it on the Internet. It’s one thing to say “hay this is kind of neat let’s abuse it” and another entirely to say “hay everybody let’s short retail payroll by all of us getting $100 free.”
Just so you know: If you come through my line with a $10 coupon that you got off Pinterest. Know that you ARE NOT going to get to use it. I do not feel bad arguing your literacy when it says “one per customer,” and have no qualms telling you “I’m sorry, I don’t care if the computer lets me do it. Can you read the coupon?” It’s one thing when you have a real, physical copy in your hand, and you fork it over. A form in which you can duplicate it indefinitely is another entirely.
And no. You’re not going to get it back from me. If you want another shot at duping a cashier, just go print another one. >:|

But yeah, sad news, the majority of the population is lame wherever you go. The nerd culture in Japan is EXTREMELY awesome and hi-tech, though, so it’s still an otaku Neverland. Say what you will, but they don’t have maid cafes or Harajuku in America =P
You can even make a point that Japan hates its own nerd culture more than anyone else does
Yep. I think that attempt at repression is part of the reason the nerd culture is as passionate as it is. I really admire Japanese nerds.
People really don’t understand how derogatory the term “otaku” is and always has been. Cultural appropriation at its finest: what we think it means vs. what it really connotates. Two different things.
